Caroline Watson is a self-taught artist from Birmingham, Alabama. She believes painting is an intimate and spiritual experience. She works intuitively to explore color, movement, form, and layering elements. The intense sense of emotion and movement is produced in the process of layering and instinctively drizzling paint across the canvas. Caroline uses a variety of colors and bold textures to communicate energy and emotions. Each painting is an illustration of experience, time and exploration of a solitary moment. Caroline believes art can transform the way we think and connect with one another and ourselves.
